Sustainable enzymatic technologies in waste animal fat and protein management

Waste animal fats and proteins (WAFP) are rich in various by-products from food industries. On one hand, increasing production of huge amounts WAFP brings a great challenge to their appropriate disposal, raises severe risks environment life health. the other high fat protein contents these wastes valuable resources which can be reutilized an eco-friendly renewable way. Sustainable enzymatic technologies promising methods for management. This review discussed application enzymes conversion WSFP value-added biodiesel bioactivate hydrolysates. New biotechnologies discover novel with robust properties were proposed as well. paper also presented bio-utilization strategy alternative nutrient media microorganism growth activities yield important industrial cost-effectively. • Enzymatic hydrolysis is greener more energy saving method. Catalyzed by lipase, could transformed into biodiesel. generates highly products. Nutrient's AWFP reduce enzyme costs.
